Creative professionals and hobbyists alike have been gathering every 3rd Monday of the month at rotating locations around Orlando since 2006, and we're not going to stop! Once a year we have an anniversary party in December, and in May we move our event over to Loch Haven Park for the Orlando Fringe Festival.

On September 22, 2012, a stretch of Central Boulevard will transform into a never-before-seen-in-Orlando race track. The date marks Urban ReThink’s First Annual Broomstick Pony Derby, a day of .131 and .262 mile races and pageantry for all ages.
The race celebrates community and creativity and will raise funds, friends, and awareness for enhancing Urban ReThink’s operations and programming. Urban ReThink is part of the 501(c)(3) Urban Think! Foundation.
Craft your very own broomstick pony for use at Urban ReThink's First Annual Broomstick Pony Derby, to take place on September 22. Artists from Universal Studios art department and Ibex Puppetry will be on hand to help with your creation. No former broomstick pony making experience required.
