You have stumbled on our little corner of the Internet - we have a so much time, so little to do - strike that, reverse it. Stick with us, and we'll make the future an awesome place to hang out. Learn more about Florida Creatives
Creating a community of Innovation. Creative professionals and hobbyists alike have been gathering every 3rd Monday of the month at rotating locations around Orlando since 2006, and we're not going to stop! Once a year we have an anniversary party in December, and in May we move our event over to Loch Haven Park for the Orlando Fringe Festival.
Florida Creatives Happy Hour returns! Video games! Craft beer! hanging out! Making new connections!
BART (Bar + Arcade + Art) is a fairly new venue with a good atmosphere off of Mills Ave - next to the Yum-Mi, near the Peacock Room. They do not serve food, but there are several food options near by. They have some free-to-play video games and a few that cost a quarter. They can make change for you, but make sure to bring a dollar or two just in case you want to play.
Orlando Fringe has been a stop on the Florida Creatives Happy Hour circuit since our first year. They create a great collaborative environment for art on the edge, particularly theatre, though there is some awesome visual art, poetry and music there as well. This year there will even be a Pecha Kucha Night as an official Fringe show!
Some of you may have noticed that we haven't had many Happy Hours this year... that's because I've been really busy putting together my first-ever Fringe show, The 39 Steps. The story of how I got to this point? Ask me at the beer tent.

This month's Happy Hour is sponsored by the Metro Orlando EDC, held at the offices of Voxeo, a real success story from Orlando's Technology Scene. They're using the opportunity to raise awareness for their #WhyOrlando campagin - just one of the ways they are making Central Florida more attractive to businesses looking to locate here.
I'm calling this the VolTron Happy Hour.
This month the local technology groups are joining forces to throw a massive holiday happy hour at The Other Bar (on Wall Street between the Cantina and Wai Tiki). This is the normal date for Build Guild but several groups are also participating. Come and grow the Orlando scene!
Come and join some of the passionate creative minds of Orlando in one of the longest-running happy hour meetups in the state of Florida (almost 6 years!). Our goal is to provide a safe environment to share your schemes, unearth passions and meet mentors or co-founders. We always get a pretty diverse representation - lately we have graphic designeers, lawyers, illustrators, city planners, startup founders, tech folks and a plethora of others.
This is by far one of the best ways to "get involved" in the community. The people at our Happy Hours are plugged in to what is going on and who is doing it.
