Creatives,
In 3 weeks, Florida Creatives will have been a regular event in Orlando for 2 years. This is a cause for celebration. I hope you can all make it out to the festivities.
We just don't know what those festivities will be, until we figure it out.
Last year, we went to Orlando Brewing Co, which is only about a mile from our normal meeting place. We ordered in some pizzas, collected some funds, ate Christmas cookies and had a hoppy jolly time in one of the only certified organic breweries in the country.
Would you like a repeat of last year's success? Can we do better? Should we stick with Crooked Bayou?
There was a discussion with some CoLab and Doterati folks about having a joint Anniversary/Holiday/Grand Opening party sometime in December -- at this point, I don't know what's concrete.
Also last year, the United Arts decided to have their holiday party on the same night as our regular meeting. If we did it on the same night but just 5 doors down (assuming we're in CoLab and they're at CityArts), there could be some cross-mingling happening.
Nothing is written in stone, this is where we talk it out.
Ryan:
I would love to talk to you about having a joint holiday party with doterati. Monkey Bar on Wall Street has donated space for us to hold out event. Please contact me and we can discuss details. I think this would be a great way to bring together all of our members for a night of networking and holiday fun!

A combined bash sounds like an interesting idea. Definitely would bring everyone together. It'd be a great crowd!
Dana from Doterati's planning committee would love to have us at Monkey Bar (wall st plaza) that Tuesday, Fredda has offered to do something at CoLab if we want, and I guess nobody from United Arts reads this message board.
I'm OK with Tuesday if there's no admission price (looks like the charity auction is not happening). I mean, it's across the street from our regular event!

So the day of he party is a Tuesday then?
Hi, Florida Creatives! I wanted to send a quick note to remind everyone that TONIGHT at Monkey Bar on Wall Street, doterati will be holding its Holiday Networking Bash from 6 pm-9 pm.
I hope that you can all make it out and celebrate the holidays, the end of 2008 and the beginning of an exciting 2009!
There is no admission for the event -- it is open to all friends, colleagues, clients and co-workers of doterati. There will be a cash bar and doterati will be raffling off some gift baskets. Raffle tickets will be on sale through out the night for $1 and will benefit doterati's Programming Committee.

I hope to see you there!
