Someone told me about this site today - they provide a way for people who want to create products to sell online - through trusted sources. She is a mommy blogger, so she might want to list items other moms would be interested in. You share the profit between yourself (the seller) and Open Sky, and I imagine the manufacturer gets their cut as well.

Shop Open Sky, become a Seller, or become a Supplier

We are a new way to shop. We think you should only buy from someone you know and trust. She should care about you, and you her. We call this relationship commerce.

The apps are then sold on the iTunes store, with all benefits going to charity.

The segment, from commandN episode 214 is called "Spotlight", and it starts about 5 minutes in to the video:

In March of 2010, after eight years as a community bookstore in downtown Orlando and Thornton Park, the Urban Think! Bookstore closed its doors, leaving as its legacy the Urban Think! Foundation. The Foundation believes that when creativity flourishes, the community benefits, and through its mission to enrich Orlando's cultural landscape the Foundation is working to re-think the bookstore space as a creative center serving the Orlando community. Please join us in helping shape the future of the former bookstore by filling out this short survey to assess how this new space might serve you.
