Orlando PHP Meets at Stardust

There was some lively discussion at Stardust Video & Coffee this Tuesday, where the Orlando PHP group had its monthly meeting. The table was opened up for discussion about where the group wanted to head in the future, at which several ideas surfaced and were discussed.
New User Group for Developers in Brevard - RAnDOM
Myself and a few other guys have put together a new user group for developers in the Brevard Area named Rich ApplicatioN Developers Of Melbourne (RAnDOM). Our blog is located @ http://itsrandom.info. Our goal is to meet monthly and work to cooperatively program sample projects focusing on assorted topics in the web and RIA technology space. Our first meeting will be August 21st at 7:00 PM at Goombay's. We'll be building a mash-up web application using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Orlando PHP User Group
A fusion of the Orlando PHP Meetup group and OrlandoPHP.org, now appearing on Florida Creatives... For reference, I guess. Regular meetings are held monthly on the 1st Thursday from 7 to 9 pm, typically at Stardust Coffee and Film in Winter Park. Topics discussed include version control, emerging development trends, best practices, design patterns, professional development, and a whole lot more...!
