The inaugural VenturePitch Orlando event in May sold out, and you don't want to miss the next event! We're bringing six more promising technology startups to the stage to pitch before our panel of distinguished technology investor judges. We'll also have another venture-backed entrepreneur deliver a thought provoking key note presentation.
This workshop will teach you how to seek funds to grow your new venture. We will focus on identifying the right source of capital and developing the appropriate fundraising strategy and process. We will discuss the legal aspects of fundraising, valuation, and effective negotiation strategies. By following the practices learned in this workshop, you will better navigate the fundraising process.

Startup Weekends are weekend-long, hands-on experiences where entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can find out if startup ideas are viable. On average, half of Startup Weekend’s attendees have technical backgrounds, the other half have business backgrounds.

IdeaField Coworking received a visit from Bay News 9 reporter Kristi Wolski who joined us to discuss the value of coworking for freelancers and emerging tech businesses. Interviews with IdeaField Co-founder Dan Davie and coworking member and CEO of Hielix, Patty Dodgen, highlighted how coworking helps emerging business develop more efficiently through shared office space and access to the collaborative resources found within the grass roots tech community.
I was talking with Pete McAlindon, the creator of a product called the orbiTouch, and a Central Florida entreprener today, and he mentioned something interesting.
He also pointed to a really interesting site: Boulder.me - it's pretty neat, and it makes me want to check out Boulder for sure.
