Coworking Anywhere - while there are awesome coworking spaces in downtown Orlando, sometimes you want to do your coworking near public transit and awesome places to get coffee, eat, hang out, see some art, go shopping and just get outside to enjoy the spring time. Did you know that there is a global community of people dedicated to the values of Collaboration, Openness, Community, Accessibility, and Sustainability in their workplaces? It's called Coworking, and people seem to think it's swell.

If you have the freedom to choose where and how you work or want to support the needs of people who do, you may want to consider joining us in the park on March 17th.

Patty was recruited by the Cade Museum due to her work for the past seven years as the DaVinci Studio Manager and Art Coordinator at the Building for Kids Children’s Museum in Appleton, WI. In that role, she developed and facilitated art and sciences programming for more than 120,000 visitors each year. An integral part of the leadership team, she developed strong relationships within the community, securing sponsors and donors for art and science programs; writing grants; as well as launching innovative programs and collaborations, including programming for at-risk children. Patty Lipka attended the University of Wisconsin Platteville and Mount Mary College in Wauwatosa Wisconsin, studying antiquity art, archeology, and is fluent in German and Greek. She also worked with the Greek and East German Government as an archeological site translator, and is a published artist.
Skills:
I came to Florida to work for the Cade Museum. Still live in Wisconsin and Florida so I am in the best of both worlds for the time being. Connecting people, finding the newest cool thing on the horizon is why I came to Florida. Seeing technology and what she can do. I connect well with educators promoting our out reach and events for the age groups 9 to 119 year olds out there.
Interests:
Enjoy arranging programs for communities, pecha kucha events, hacker space groups, art, science, physics, all things geek. Finding the next amazing thing to share and promote creativity with our community! (oh and I can speak Greek and German too) Promoting all things at the Cade Museum! If you want to know more about how your groups can be a part of the creativity at the Cade Museum, just email me. Many hands make light (and INTERESTING) work.
