This is the first Brevard Tech meetup where we will hold an introduction to arduino course. Jaycon Systems will be on hand to supply arduino boards and starter kits, but you should bring your laptop and a power cord along with a power strip and extension cord to share.

Here is a great Arduino Starter kit from Jaycon Systems to get if yo don't already have one. We will also have kits at the meetup available for sale if you don't already have one, but to speed things along, consider ordering one prior to the meetup.

You should also download the Arduino IDE and install it on your computer prior to the meetup, since we won't have wifi or internet access at the meeting.

I will also have some on-topic books to give away courtesy of O'reilly media.

It was a fun class. I think

It was a fun class. I think the students were a little scared at first, but they caught on right away. I love to see them take it upon themselves to explorer and open new doors in electronics. Looking forward to the next meet up.
