Stirring the Orlando Coworking Pot
I got an email today through a local creative named Tiffany - she asked about shared office space.
In my reply, I pointed her to the Orlando Coworking Wiki page on the Official Coworking Wiki and here on FLCreatives Wiki.
Obviously, you've got to know about the coworking mailing list as well.
Once you've checked all of that out, then you can start going to Coworking Tuesdays at Stardust. They are literally every Tuesday during the day - not exactly 9 to 5, but hours like those. Stardust has free wi-fi, great food, coffee, tea, wine, beer, liquor (for those really hard client phone calls), and videos for rent. What more could you ask for?
Stardust is centrally located, so as a first coworking experience, it's very accessible.

There's also some really interesting stuff going on at The Office Art Gallery - which is the space above the old B&S Daily Market location - on Robinson @ Magnolia, next to Kinko's.
Frankie Messina of Apartment E is one of the minds behind this downtown coworking space. There is a blog announcement on The Office's MySpace.

P.S. Now there are also some folks in the Angebilt Building (upstairs from where we had the April 2008 BarCamp) who are helping to open a coworking space. This is the same space that NFi Studios occupies on the 6th floor.
