Beautiful, BarCamp
Fantastic job everyone. Discussion leaders, photographers, participants (could have been more participating, honestly) and especially organizers. Orlando is putting itself on the map with events like this, and will only continue to gain the eyes of the world.
I can't wait for BlogOrlando on Friday. That's right, it wasn't last week. I heard that a few times where people thought BarCamp was the Sunday of BlogOrlando instead of the Sunday before.
One comment I've heard quite a bit on the Florida Creatives front was "I always forget when the event is happening, can you send out a reminder the day before?"
My answer will always be to check out the events on Upcoming. All you need is a Yahoo! ID and a cell phone/email and they will send you text and email reminders 24 hours in advance. The events for October are in the right sidebar now.
If you want me to send emails one week before and one day before/day of, I can do that. The events are on Facebook, MySpace, Virb, Upcoming, Google Groups and this website. If anyone wants to be a delegated poster of events, I will hand over passwords gladly. Also, I'd really like to get weekly blog posts going here at FloridaCreatives.com - like BarCamp year-round. If you're interested, just let me know.

Found out about this site, and the community behind it at BarCamp. I guess I've been sequestered for too long in my home office - that I didn't even think to imagine that there other professional devs out there doing the same thing (working from home, looking to collaborate with other like minded individuals). Wow. I was blown away at the level of talent that was at Taste on Sunday.
BTW, I posted my slides from my presentation on my blog this morning, if your interested in checking it out. My topic was: passions + inspiration = innovation [Backroom, 4:20pm].
Keep up the good work - I'll be adding the Happy Hour to my iCal, and am looking at attending blogOrlando if I can work it out with my schedule - deadlines are approaching. :)
